Excellence in Supply Chain Management International Conference at its 4th Edition

On November 18th, 2014, a new successful edition of the Excellence in Supply Chain Management International Conference took place. Conducted by APTUS Software in partnership with Manhattan Associates, the conference has gathered more than 100 leading experts in the logistics and supply chain field.

This one-of-a-kind event in Romania is the proof that our company is committed to increasing the performance in the logistics field. The interaction and the consistent communication with the best practicing experts in the filed represent a step forward in our efforts to bring added value into the customized software applications.

The event was opened by Oszkar Bara - CTO APTUS Software, who presented "Ready To Face The Commerce Revolution". The presentation focused on the latest trends in the field at international level and on the development directions.

It followed the presentation of the Manhattan Associates company's performance and novelties, held by Martin Lokwood, the overview of the non-reimbursable financing lines, with tips for accessing the grants, made by Nagy-Imecs Peter - Goodwill Consulting and the highlight on the logistics operations deployed beyond the warehouse walls (routes, deliveries, etc.) was presented by Miruna Rad, APTUS Software representative.

During the pauses, the participants were able to test the Pick-by-Voice solution, implemented by APTUS Software at FrieslandCampina.

The second round of presentations was opened by Keith Thaulow - EMEA Sales Director within Demand Solutions company, with his presentation "Increase your company margins by streamlining the Supply Chain Planning efforts". And due to the fact that, during the previous editions, the interest of the participants in case studies had been obvious, there were presented two Romanian success stories - warehouse management solutions, implemented by APTUS Software: FrieslandCampina represented by Nicolae Cișmașu and Impar, represented by József PAP. The conference ended with a short presentation of the successful implementations made by Manhattan Associates in Eastern Europe.

APTUS Software wishes to thank all partners and participants that attended the fourth edition of Excellence in Supply Chain Management International Conference for their engagement and for supporting our initiative.
